What do women look for in men?

C'mon and share your thoughts here.

Physically, i like dark hair and eyes - I also like a man to be stocky with big shoulders. I also like love handles and a cuddly tum.

Personality wise I like someone intelligent who finds the same things funny as I do. Oh yes, must also like animals and do own ironing

How do you see memeber profiles Gwenick?

My DP is dark and handsome but not particularly tall - although he is just the right height for me

Ambrosia - I too hate highlights. They look gross.

On a man obviously - didn't mean to offend any mnetters who have highlights!

I like blonde hair on men, I am unusual. I don't like too muck muscle, skinny or podgy is ok. Men have to be clean though.

Caligula · 13/04/2005 14:17

Height
Confidence
Intelligence
Humour
Ability to put up shelves
Ability to load the dishwasher/ washing machine/ clear up after self without expecting a fanfare of amazement and gratitude and an eight hour BJ.

I see what you mean Gwenick

Colditz, clean is important. Can't stand men who don't wash, yuck. How can a grown man not want to clean himself every day?

Even-tempered and mild mannered, down to Earth. Someone who likes animals, plants and children , and who sees our relationship and marriage as a partnership. Sees contentment as the greatest success. Unmaterialistic is a big one for me!

Caligula · 13/04/2005 14:19

ooh yes, dirty men are a turn off.

Particularly dirty fingernails

Janos · 13/04/2005 14:21

Hmmm Caligula my DP expects an eight hour BJ with doing any of the above!

Nah just kidding..

He's usually happy with half an hour

I could not live with a man who didn't like animals.

My DP loves children and its wonderful to see him with our DS (5 and a half months). They are all giggles and smiles together.

How short is a short arse ambrosia?

I find it quite easy to meet men who are taller than me, but then I'm only 5ft 2.

Ambrosia, I can't abide a man under 5 ft 9 (and I'm um... 4 ft 10!)

Janos · 13/04/2005 14:39

My DP is only 5ft 7 and he is just lovely. I've had taller and I don't like it...Had one boyfriend I had to stand on a chair to kiss. Too much effort for a lazybones like me.
