What do men like in a woman?

I don't understand what men find attractive in a woman. To me it feels like im not what my dp wants. what makes the 'ideal' wife/partner? my dp always contradicts himself whenever i talk about this kind of stuff... i.e. if i ask am i fat, he says no you are perfect. Then other days that im too skinny, then he will see a stick thin model on tv and say she is gorgeous and 'perfect'. Do men care more about looks? or do they actually look at the person?

DC: album from time at uni. Fantastic. Much more melodic / sole male vocal than more recent rockier stuff. Recommended.

Are men really that bothered about how women look? I mean, seriously? I would hope not.

dh likes the "muffin top" look with flesh hanging over the hipsters. There is no accounting for men.

Statistically men prefer women with small waists and large hips and symetrical features. It is all about mating really.

Well..if all men liked only the 'model' type then surely only a few people would ever get together, cos the percentage of ppl who do look like that are very small - and that includes men!

This gives me an idea for a thread.

My Dh likes petite busty blondes with pert bums...I am a 5Ft 9" brunette, busty but bum is certainly not pert!
Mind you, I prefer tall, muscly dark swarthy men and Dh is 5ft 10", medium built and fair haired and skinned!
It's now been 9 years so going against type has worked for us!

Luckily for me, my DP doesn't go for the 'ideal' model type as he has a 5 10", 25 year old, blonde and V. attractive secretary (and I am short, dark and def not swedish!) ............phew!

My Dp doesnt go for the stereotype either-
I'm by far his slimmest partner ever, and I'm almost 12 stone!
