What do you normally get your dh/dp for Valentine's day? We haven't really done Valentine's day for a few years but I really would like to get dh something or do something special for him to let him know that I really appreciate him. Apart from the obvious .

Having the same problem. Just been reading the local paper they suggest planting a tree!

BalloonSlayer · 08/02/2009 08:24

God I can imagine DH's face if I planted a tree for him for valentine's day!!

Am stuck for ideas too. I usually try to get him something sexy but everything I see, we have already

a voucher for something he wants to do in the bedroom?

NorbertDentressangle · 08/02/2009 10:15

erm...can you elaborate on that compo?!

I've seen vouchers for a Days Rally Driving or a Hot Air Balloon ride but not for a Dominatrix Day or Evening of Bum Sex etc

My DH took me away to Oxford for a super-romantic babymoon, so I've found some old prints of the town centre I'm getting framed as a reminder of our fab weekend!

(but then I'm the soppy sort... and so is he, so he'll love it!)

Got mine a voucher for a massage as he likes that kind of thing.

Dh took me to Oxford for Valentine's 2004, that was pre baby though. We won't be going on any romantic city trips this year sigh!

He hates vouchers though. Making a nice dessert to share whilst watching a dvd always seems to work and he always appreciates that but also likes to make it himself!

Last year I got my DP a message in a bottle from violetandblue.com. It was a big hit & he was really touched by it. Finding it hard to find something as good this year!
