is this with your exbf (saw your other thread) ? I know alot of people always say no contact etc but I actually know for myself I like to get things off my chest.

I have always felt better when I have told them how I feel.

Funnily enough I don't usually do that with female friends.

morning!
yes it is!
i had been happy to let things lie and just walk away as i hate confrontations
and yes would have maintained no contact
but was shocked and angry to find his pic popping up on a dating site
obviously looking for his next booty call
and obviously a name changed me fitted his bill!
scl hope this week's date goes ahead will look on your thread later

aseriouslyblondemoment · 26/01/2009 11:42

warthog its not mine actually
theres bits n pieces on lone parents
have chipped in on various dating/men threads
they're all current as there seem to be a fair old few of us doing this dating thing at the mo...grrr!!

ah right. sounds like you're well shot. at least your guy wasn't a vampire...

aseriouslyblondemoment · 26/01/2009 11:51

that sounds positively sinister

TheFirstLiffey · 26/01/2009 11:52

What happened? What did you do or say? Or was it just the passing of time?

warthog · 26/01/2009 11:54

loonies out there

aseriouslyblondemoment · 26/01/2009 12:11

oh jesus i missed that one warthog must go thru it
First Liffey
he is one of those emotionally unavailable men who unfortunately preys on a certain type of woman
it just fizzled out a while back and i felt relieved as i no longer heard from him
having just decided to give online dating another whirl i log in after one day of new membership to find that there he is checking me out
so i messaged him and told him exactly what i thought and what i should have said ages ago
he messaged me back
and has now taken himself offsite
so thats a result!!

OP posts:
TheFirstLiffey · 26/01/2009 12:26

oh good. very satisfying!

aseriouslyblondemoment · 26/01/2009 12:31

yes it is
lets just hope hes not logging on to a dating site near you!
but its just proved to me how important it is to get things off your chest
and then draw a line under it
closure is truly liberating!!
