why do we miss them?

I've just ended a really turbulent 3 year relationship and the writing has been on the wall for quite a long time. He believes in an honest and open relationship which seems to give him carte blanche to say any hurtful, nasty thing that comes into his head. So why do I miss him and want to text him? When will I stop wanting to text him?

conditioning basically, its insidious and hard to break away from

but well done for doing so

i think it's a really good question

i was going to say 'because it is about you ,not him'...but i dont want it to sound harsh

it may be that you miss having that proximity/closeness to someone, even if they were a tosser!

it does seem to defy common sense, but i am certain you are not alone!

I nearly read that as toaster not tosser. Yes, I guess anyone even a git seems better than no one but I know that not to be true. What so you mean by conditioning?
