Just a quick reply ladies please.
I can't give too many details for various reasons, but want your reaction -

I saw a friend - male- a week back and the day after sent a text saying it was good to see him etc. We meet up now and then- not very often- and it's one of those tricky situations that hovers on being more than just friends. No reply back.

Is this normal male behaviour or is it rude, shows lack of feeling or what?

He's not interested in a relationship. That's what I would say.

He told me it was lovely to see me in person, so maybe he just thinks- that text does not need a reply ????

Whatever his intentions are I would consider this: what are your values in such circumstances, is it rude to ignore a text? to an aquaintance? to a would-be lover? Then make a judgement based on those answers.

If you think it is rude then don't tolerate it. Tell him. And nowadays I wouldn't get involved with a man who thinks it's ok to be rude before the relationship has even begun, personally.

Honestly ?? Unless I respond to a text straight away, I often forget about them . Maybe he was busy doing something else when your text came and he's done the same ?

ps it#'s so easy to read so much into texting.

It was lovely to see you. He told you that already. He's not in a rush to contact you because he's not interested in a relationship. There is no mystery.
