Tired of friggin abbreviations. Been searching on google. Presume CF isn't cystic fibrosis so what the ** is it?
Even if she had cystic fibrosis ( which I am sure it doesn't mean) you shouldn't give her a lift. She's taking the piss.

Can someone clarify the etiquette regarding the plural of DS? Because DSS is obviously Darling Step-Son and I can't bring myself to do what some people seem to do and pass DS's off as plural. Would it be DSs? Or is that still a bit ambiguous?

It should absolutely be DSes. Words ending S are pluralised -es. Thus the correct form is DSes. This is not an opinion question. This is the only correct way.
