My DH would do this. He thinks the DCs are OK basically as long as they have not killed each other or burnt the house down. The liklihood is that they are OK but would be nice if Dad got up and had some input into their lives.
BTW Yuk staying in bed til that time!

MrsGeneHunt · 02/01/2009 22:15

WishItWouldSnow · 02/01/2009 22:18

Lazy buggers!
I love getting up to get going. Wish all the others did.
I always did loads when I was younger . Riding and had to muck out stables to get a free half hour ride or practising music as I was very nerdy and played violin and piano.

My kids only want to play games on screens or watch screens preferably with Disney crap on it!

MrsGeneHunt · 02/01/2009 22:18

thanks mac.

they were sayign they had no lunch, and i was remembering new years day, when - actually i was rather slack and missed lunch too, had a big early main meal though!

WishItWouldSnow · 02/01/2009 22:20

To be fair though, they could get their own breakfast. But I know that in reality unless I am there to say "have you had some breakfast?" they wouldn't bother. Goes back to the lazy gene (husband's clearly). I want to clear the kitchen table of cereal before lunchtime.

MrsGeneHunt · 02/01/2009 22:21

true, for that lazy gene,
