Christmas from Hell

We were on very bad ground anyway but today has been awful, christmas was ruined from the minute we got up. I've spent the past 2 hours crying. The kids have sensed the atmosphere, he doesn't care and is downstairs with lager playing on the xbox.

Just such a shit christmas to finish off a shit year and I can't even look forward to new year

so sorry you are having such a hard time Is there anyone you and your kids can spend new year with?

BlueSapphire77 · 25/12/2008 21:33

Sorry you are having such a bad time of it.
Mine has been picking moaning and practically bullying all day.
I've just put him on the ultra nice treatment so he looks unreasonable not me.. i've spoken nicely at all times and refused to bite back when he is being shitty.
Now we're home and i'm giving him the treatment..cups of tea, smiling at him, just not speaking. Unless i really have to. Of course it helped that i had my sister to moan to lol .. "so what did you have nice for xmas?" "Fk all" "Oh"
Queue all looks going towards dp who by now looks suitably ashamed
Sod him, christmas can still be happy for you and the kids. Ditch the temptation to pull the plug on the xbox lol
Have you anyone else you can spend tomorrow with, you and the kids? I wish i knew how to make it better for you hun..
Take care ok hope it is better for you xx

so sorry xxx
Hope tomorrow is a little easier. If it is looking like heading in the same direction, I would think about just getting out of the house with the kids and taking them off to do something (anything) fun and stress free for a while.

Well complicated i dunno if you took any of this advice but i sure did lol

Buggered off out at the first sign of grumpiness this morning and only just came back from my mums

Dare him to stay out overnight he'll be sacked with a capital 'S'
But am enjoying the peace for now and actually had a great day without him and his miserable attitude

Hope yours was ok hun xx
