well, i don't think your marriage is very equal and i think you need to address that. you SHOULD go out in the evenings and leave him to deal with dd. and you should definitely sort out your finances, maybe by opening a joint account, bills & mortgage come out and whatever's left over you split.

he doesn't sound all bad, but there are problems you need to sort out.
