I have been with dh years and we have an amazing relationship and a great life together.I have recently found myself attracted to someone i have been working closely with and this has never happened before although I work with men in this capacity all the time.I can tell he feels the same but he has met dh and would never disrespect him.I would never go there either and we will be finshed this project in the next 10 days and that will be that.I am posting because it has taken me by surprise and I do admit it feels exciting but am shocked that this can happen so suddenly and it has made me realise how affairs happen and i wouldn't have said that a month ago.

Imagine how you would feel if you read this, if it were written by your DH. Get a grip and do some shopping online instead, or take up a hobbie.

I'd take the opportunity of this crush to understand that there's something you're missing. What is it about this man that appeals so much? Does he provide something in your life that you're not getting elsewhere? Does he have qualities you wish you had? Does he remind you of someone from your past?

(Obviously don't take any opportunities to jump the crush-guy! Jump your dh instead.)

Chemistry innit! Use it to your advantage nudge nudge, wink wink!

I'd feel amazingly flattered and maybe that's what you're feeling, hence, the excitement. Apart from your DH, when was the last time you just knew some bloke had the hots for you?

It's a powerful feeling I reckon but you're very wise ... it is how affairs start!

He is young very good looking extremely clever and I have just been enjoying the attention tbh.My dh gives me loads of attention and so I'm not lacking in that dept at all.The thing I like is that he is interested in the me that doesn't make the dinner and wash the kids clothes It is a feeling I haven't had since I was single but it hasn't tempted me just made me want to make a bit more effort with dh who frankly makes a lo of effort in that way.It has been fun to be desired but I know when to step back

Hey, I think it's great that you recognise and admit to yourself what is happening in this situ. If more people did that and stopped in their tracks, then these forums wouldn't be half as busy as they sadly are with all of the horrible heartache that affairs cause.

Take it all as a big compliment and realise that your DH is lucky to have you
