I'm planning a special night with DH for our anniversary and would like to involve some sensual food experience in bed. Anyone got any great ideas? I can barely remember 9 and a half weeks...I think strawberries were in there somewhere....

aphrodisacs are asparagus, lobster (or is it oysters)
what about a bottle of bubbly to get the mood going?

Squirty cream?? Choc body paint?
Tequila 'body shots' can be sexy...not the worm, obviously...

chocolate fondue...

I have found that a really nice steak goes down a treat with the man in my life.

Is special and very manly - grr! (oh and bloody easy and quick to cook!).

I'd definately second the chocloate fondue suggestion. Strawberries, pineapple, kiwi, basically and tropical or juicy fruit. Yum yum. and can lead t all kinds of naughty games....

Add a bit of champers (or Cava, I can never taste the difference anyway) and you are all set!

Enjoy!!

Capadula: the bark of which is a known aphrodisiac. But you will have to travel to distant lands to procure.

Second time I've posted this tonight:

A packet of butchers sausages - grilled
A good bottle of Aussie Shiraz (spend at least £15)
And a shag.

Happy anniversary.

Champagne (realistically Cava!) poured over the relevant parts is very pleasant, but stick to sparkling water if you are prone to thrush! Chocolate sauce lovely too, squirty cream, even bits of nice fruit in small chunks... Nothing too erm internal, and you should be fine. Anything you have for a meal beforehand, keep it light- ie if you have steak, just do salad or steamed veg, as carbs will give you the Xmas dinner feeling, and the last thing you'll want to do is bounce around! Hope you have a great night!
