My DH said the loveliest things yesterday ....

I have to share this as I still feel fuzzy about it ...
First of all I need to point out that DH NEVER EVER says warm and fuzzy stuff, he only tells me he loves me if I tell him first, he never says that I look nice if we go out, he never notices if I have my hair done (even when I went from blonde to dark brown!!). It is the way he is and I know that he loves me from things he does and how he is with me IYSWIM ... he is very loving but not in a verbal way.
Anyway, he picked DS up from school yesterday (for the first time since he started in Nov.) ...
Later in the day he came up to me in the kitchen and gave me a kiss and a cuddle, then said, "You know, you are the pick of all the Mums in the playground!" He had been checking out all the mums and came to that conclusion!!! .
It was such a little teeny thing to say but it meant a lot and made me feel so lovely ..... just wanted to share that ...

Oh, bless him! It makes it mean more when they don't say things like that very often, or so I tell myself

Ah - I needed a cyber-hug like that tonight - that's lovely. Hope that feeling lasts forever!!

My dw often complains that she gets stared at in the street, by men. She hates it and thinks shes fat and yucky (like most women, i suppose). I tell her it's because she sparkles.
