I have recently got in touch with some relatives and it has been great hearing stories that I hadn't heard before and given the family history from a different side.

Anyone got any funny/sad anectdotes, or tales from your family archives you want to share

I could tell you horror stories about my paternal grandad all day!

Here's a more lighthearted one though...he had a fist fight with my maternal grandad at my parents' wedding, that was broken up by my nan's second husband
