filz · 28/10/2008 16:44

what you are going to be one?

stealthsquiggle · 28/10/2008 16:45

Is this Aunty on the subject of Mother, or just generally?

Voodoo doll?

PsychoAxeMurdererMum · 28/10/2008 16:46

It's not fair.

and now she has upset the children too

"ooh, megs is so cantancerous, she is not like you were as a child. what on earth happen??"

all that megs did was refuse a photograph. I mean, a photo is not such a big deal, by seriously, imply that she is a damaged child and base her entire personality on one lack of photo

Kewcumber · 28/10/2008 16:46

would you like us to put a hex on her?

MerlinsBeard · 28/10/2008 16:47

have you seen her today?? whatever for??

filz · 28/10/2008 16:47

i am lsot
couldnt you have just takjen an unhappy picture and given it to her and tutted?

PsychoAxeMurdererMum · 28/10/2008 16:49

aunty has been insisting on taking me and the children out for months.....she has got all 'finicky' on having to see them, cos she knows I will do all I can to ensure they don't have to.

I finally gave in....worn down by constant coomments, and we went to Moors Valley (one place the children love so I figured it 'safe').

Nope, not safe, she belittled them all day, made snide comments, commmented on my parenting (I was Not. Letting. It. Get. To. Me.), and that was wrong......and then....

she threatened to smack Max, for him not eating all of his food.

PsychoAxeMurdererMum · 28/10/2008 16:52

and I am so upset I have even lost my halloween hats

and tomorrow is mothers birthday and I have to go there too.......

at least Mother is short.......I never inflict more than 30mins on the children of her.

((sorry, am feeling a tad sorry for myself, can ya tell))

OP posts:
PsychoAxeMurdererMum · 28/10/2008 16:52

oh, kew, hexes would be wonderful.

thankyou...

OP posts:
Kewcumber · 28/10/2008 16:53

did she eat all of hers. Perhaps you could offer to smack her when she doesn't next time.

Joolyjoolyjoo · 28/10/2008 16:53

Ouch!! On the plus side, now you have no obligation to have to see her in the near future, as you have done your duty

Big glass of wine and relax!

stealthsquiggle · 28/10/2008 16:53

I think the time for adult solidarity is well gone. Group hug for DC and reassurance that they are all fab and that Aunty is mean and nasty.

Poor you.

Voodoo doll and Kew's hex called for, I think.

AttilaTheMeerkat · 28/10/2008 16:55

You don't have to go to your Mum's tomorrow y'know. You honestly don't.

I'd have no compunction about cutting these two completely out of your lives; they have done more than enough emotional harm.

Don't know if you've ever read the Stately Homes thread but you may want to post there as well.

purplemonkeydishwasher · 28/10/2008 16:57

personally i've stopped being nice to asshole family members just because they are family. don't see her again. really. you don't deserve that shit.

PsychoAxeMurdererMum · 28/10/2008 16:57

we have had a hug.

and a huge sorry from me for inflicting her on them

and I booked up xmas santa train for them all when I was there, so they have that to look forward to (costs £9.50 each {even the adults get a pressie tho}) so I feel as tho something went well.

they are all feeling very close now in their joint bitching.....

and they feel very sorry for me having been bought up by her!

and DH has come home with said wine for me (I kept texting screams to him), and has promised them hagaan daaz icecream for tonight.

PsychoAxeMurdererMum · 28/10/2008 16:59

attilla, I did venture into the stately homes thread on the first threrad, and felt a wee bit as tho I shouldn;t be there. not sure why TBH, and was nothing to do with lack of welcome as ally90 was and has been lovely, I just felt awkward IYGWIM.

I think I do need to go back tho......I cannot go thro this each week!

OP posts:
PsychoAxeMurdererMum · 28/10/2008 17:41

I have found my hats tho-->

DisasterArea · 28/10/2008 18:51

jeez psycho. must you see the poisonous aunty often? sorry am a bit slow to catch on but i sense you have ishoos. don't feel you have to rehash it all though.
i shall hex the men in your life too if you like?
has to be said i did carry on visiting my poisonous father through the mistaken belief that i couldn't deny the DDs a grandfather but youknow. it really wasn't worth it. couldn't bear it so don't any more.
have more wine.

Hallowean · 28/10/2008 18:53

your aunty may be my mother

PsychoAxeMurdererMum · 28/10/2008 18:58

disaster........I would like not to see her......but she rings me and bugs me and generally makes the guilt trips far to big to handle so I give in.

she bought me up......my mother is schizophrenic....not a great childhood and aunty is/was very controlling wcich leads to problems.

hallowean.....

OP posts:
DisasterArea · 28/10/2008 19:24
