and no i can't leave him, he wont go. debt ridden enough without rocking that boat.

i was thinking amateur dramatics.
came on with great resolve, however cannot find local amateur dramatics.

Sounds like a good idea. Get out of the house, get a hobby etc let the marriage bumble along for a bit. If you feel better about yourself the marriage might even improve.

Local choir? Charity work?

You could try Relate too? Although not heard great success stories from them.

do some work on yourself and really find out what you want.

It could just be a simple thing like keeping up with friends/the news.
Give yourself a nice routine just for you - beauty treatments or something (home ones if money tight).

For me it is running - this is my time to allow myself to think as much as i want - and feel good about myself too.
