mumoverseas · 08/10/2008 16:31

thank you for your kind words Quintessenc...,
after the day I've had I feel a litte better now!

myredcardigan · 08/10/2008 16:39

I did it at 16- was my first sexual experience actually. She was my best friend and we had that kind of intense teenage friendship IYKWIM.

I have to say it did far more for me emotionally than physically. I loved the intimacy but there was no desire. It was still satisfying physically as we both knew what to do despite it being first time for both of us but a bit boring! Too gentle really, but then I don'tsee the appeal of tender, gentle sex.

I am quite puzzled as to why so many women are keen on this.

Is it something to do with being socially conditioned to admire the female form?

Also, practical question: when two women shag, how do they decide when the shag is finished? I mean, it could go on forever, couldn't it?

itsmydream · 08/10/2008 17:05

Oh i wish id started this thread,
It has been my desire to do this for a long time.
Happily married but would try deffinately. would need to fancy the pants tho.

funny how many others would,

NomDePlume · 08/10/2008 17:06

a) why would it disappear ? It not explicit or offensive and

b) why would people want to contiue discussions off board

NomDePlume · 08/10/2008 17:07

LostHorizon - I've heard it said by a few psychologist types with an interest in the area of human sexuality that women's sexuality is much more fluid than that of a man (in general, obv).

sep1712 · 08/10/2008 17:24

nomdeplume, disscussions off board are for there eyes only!!! so no gossipin!!! ha ha

@ NDP: Well I've always suspected that female sexual display is about psyching other women out of the contest, not about attracting men.

When I first started noticing women, aged around 12 I suppose, female grooming always struck me as massive overkill compared to what it would actually take to interest men. Women just have to look washed, roughly the right size, and discernibly female to look foxy. Maybe wear a short skirt.

Instead, some women go to the gym, have boob ops, botox injections, spend fortunes on their hair, nails, and wardrobe, and then say quite truthfully that they aren't doing all that for men's benefit.

And it's true, they're not. They're doing it to make other women feel dowdy so they'll leavethe field to others.

NomDePlume · 08/10/2008 17:33

Perhaps, or perhaps some of them don't feel 'worthy' enough without all the synthetic bolleaux ? Perhaps that is a self-image/self-esteem thing for some ?

ButWhyMum · 08/10/2008 17:33

Sure was Sep...

Oh and no men allowed

NomDePlume · 08/10/2008 17:35

And of course there are always going to be those females who talk the faux-lesbianism talk to try to seem sexier and more wild to men, but give them a wet and willing woman (pardon the expression) and they would run a mile !

sep1712 · 08/10/2008 17:37

i'll chat to you later then butwhymum...
