Dh and I went to see this at the cinema today...VERY good. Quite scary, and no Hollywood happy ending. Anyone else seen it?

Also, watched 'Signs' on DVD last night, which dh loved, and I thought was alright. Not really into aliens, which was probably the reason that I didn't rate it. Also, Mel is looking old now, so no drooling!

I take it then that he's not going to be a hollywood star that ages well like Richard Gere and my favourite Sean Connery.

Channel 4 showed the original Japanese film 'Ringu' recently. Not a film to watch on your own, very scary.

Seen the original Japanese Ring - I thought it was really frightening. And I thought Signs was very creepy too...

I was a bit disappointed by Signs.

have to say i did not find the original japanese version of the ring very scary. have just bought the original solaris as a present for dh, may watch that tonight... unlikely to see signs before it comes out on video...

I was looking forward to seeing Signs as had heard good things about it,but I was disappointed too and thought it was a bit silly.Although to be fair it was entertaining and the acting was good.I'm a wimp when it comes to supernatural thrillers so will probably give The Ring a miss,The Others quite spooked me out enough.

I thought this was going to be about Rocks (as in engagement rings) since it's under relationships: The Ring...I haven't seen the film but agree, Mel is too old to drool over these days. Quite fancy seeing the remake of Solaris though.
