my sister has got worse since i had children, she's always critical and is quite argumentative and confrontational. so to keep the peace, i limit the ammount of time i see her and phone occasionally.

would you have given it to her or said that you couldn't remember it or something like that, she does have my landline no.

I'd have said you have my landline number - if I'm not in leave a message

i'd have accidentally transposed 2 digits.

but you can always choose whether or not to answer can't you
