Shallow i know but have just been watching sex and the city and the question was asked' is being happy neccessary in a relationship'?

samantha was unhappy and thought it was normal and charlotte said that she was happy every day. perhaps not all day but at least once a day.

and i t got me thinking. i don't know how happy i am at the moment.or rather i think i am not especially happy.

and i know that i need to do something to change that.but what?

i feel like i am looking for moments of happiness to grasp-and that's not good is it?

So what is 'normal?'

how happy are you?

Great stuff

ActingNormal, I agree some men can go ARGHHHHHHHHHHHHHH, Run away!!! at the prospect of a 'talk' but with DP, IME, he is much more likely to be fed up if I get him into it under false pretences, would &much& rather I said, 'Do you fancy having dinner tomorrow, only I fancy spending some time with you and could do with a chat?'. I suppose it all depends which type of man you live with really.

Malory, same here.
Having my washing line moved to the sunnier part of the garden made me happy on sunday

TMMJ, hurray hurray

My DH is away during the week so I have to remember what I'm annoyed about. It's hard work

Szyslak · 29/09/2008 20:38

TMMJ, wasn't it you that said the song 'The prettiest eyes' made you think of you and your DH?

I've always remembered that and thought you and your DH must be very devoted to each other.

I'm sure you can get things back on an even keel very easily.

(hope that was you, if not it was a nice story anyway!)

TMMJ - fantastic news. Amazing what just jumping in can do. Well done. Good luck with the date!

I never thoght it was soppy. I thought it was so touching I remembered it.

I thought, there's a good marriage there, and obviously I was right.
