He has gone and I am at a loss of what to do

DP ended our relationship last night, he has met some-one else and he has moved out.

I knew that there was some-one else but he said it was a one off and we where working things out, we where getting along great etc, but he said what tipped him over the edge was me shouting at DS2 and he couldnt cope any more!!!!!!!

He has now also said that he will tell people its a mutual decision. And that we both know its for the best and that we can always be friends!!!

I dont know what to do, I am in such a mess am so so sad.

Do you work?

Will you be able to manage financially?

does he want to help with the children?

I am soo soo sorry for you esp as you thought things were working out for you both. A lot of MNetters are going through similar situations and will be able to advise you better.

You will be in shock and your DH - like all others - doesn't want to be seen as the bad guy so is makin gout it is your fault. IT IS NOT YOUR FAULT.

You shouting at DS2 is not a relationship dealbreaker he is just to weak to take the blame himself so is shifing it on to you.

Witchybella, i am so sorry, i have been going through similar for the last 6 months. Bloody men! Has he said where he is going? you need to discuss your children and when he will see them, also what about money? he has responsibilities he cannot just walk away from.

I know exactly how you are feeling, my world fell apart, try and talk to a friend or family, it really will help. My sister has been fantastic and just listened to me rant and cry. Sending you a massive hug x

The children are 14 & 11 they are from a previous relationship. The house is mine, we have been together for 2 1/2 years an lived together for the last 18 months my DS's adore him. I do work full time and have always kept a separate bank account. As far as I am aware he has moved in with a friend. He also blamed the children as DS1 is going through terrible teens and DS1 and I always seem to be at logger heads and DP said he couldnt cope with it......... That has just made me feel awful

Then starts saying cant understand why you would want to be with me as you can do so much better I just feel so sad and sick not eaten anything.

yes have been talking to my sister and mother but I suppose talking on line to strangers is easier and less judgemental
