Partner went on a stag do last night. rang him at 9 to say have a nice nght. He has just got in!

He said the battery on his phone went and he tried to ring the home phone - thats bullshit he could of got my mobile if he wud of tried. I so want him to leave this it the 1st time. He has obviously been taking something as hs eyes are huge. He sad he has been round his friends all day. Kids are screaming at me as they heard the row. I hate him!

not just him but you as well with ratty kids = stressed mum and everything is a lot worse.

Would he know your mobile number off by heart thought? I know my DP doesn't know mine but he would know the house number. Surely if he had taken something his eyes still wouldn't be huge? Does he take drugs? Have you seen him like this before?

I'm sorry but i would be fuming. That is not acceptable in a relationship and even more so in one that involves kids.

My DH has problems with signal occasionaly and will leave friends to find a phone box or text me/phone me from a friends phone to let me know where he is, how he is and when he will be home. I don't think i am controlling it's more about having respect for the other person. i do the same if i am out. To be out this long withough calling leaves no excuse in my books. You need to let him sleep for a bit and then make sure he knows it's not on. Also, i would be horrified if i honestly thought he was on drugs- think about your children, its not what a responsible parent would do.

I am ver for you and really hope he tells you everthing that happend and that he will never do anything like this again.

Are you worried that he did something untoward or that he might have done some drugs or is there something else there?
Did he have a curfew?
I know I might sound pokey but sometimes I'm like this with my DH when deep down I'm cross because he went out and wasn't under my controlling beady eye....

He has done this MANY times before and we have had endless arguments over it. He is a big drinker and it takes over it. If it was a 1 off i wouldnt care but t isnt. I know it was a stag do but come on - theres no excuse. When the children are askng when is daddy gonna be home its sooooo hard as i dont know. Son scored a goal at footy today and he wanted to ring Daddy to tell him but couldnt. Also kids have lost their randad recently and doesnt need anymore upset and is starting a new school Thursday. Im so worried for them. I really lost it tonight. am sick of being treated like a MUG!Im not having it anymore, i told him either he goes or i do and he has gone. Me and kids are watchng Spiderwick Chronicles. I wonder if I am joining you amazing single moms. I have done it before and I can do it again, DS1 Dad and I were very young but get on really well still. DP has been his father since he was 2 and he is 8 now. I have really messed up their lives and I love them so very much
