Quattrocento · 02/07/2008 11:44

Just a quick post to say I was among many who were very moved by the Huntress1 thread. I can't link to the thread now for those who have missed it, but I'd like to wish Huntress all the very best and send her strength.

I was too. I think she is amazing and wish her and her DS all the best of luck...

jennylindinha · 02/07/2008 11:51

I want to add my support too. I was following the thread and have been very moved by it, but didn't have anything useful to post... I hope she is doing well. What happened to the thread?

Remotew · 02/07/2008 11:54

I was following the thread had it on watch but its gone. Does anyone know why? I hope she is staying strong.

ShanBrod · 02/07/2008 11:57

I was following Huntress post to and really feel for her.
What happened to the thread is everything ok?

Quattrocento · 02/07/2008 11:57

It's clear that the thread has been deleted - not sure why - assume for reasons of confidentiality maybe. Even if she's deleted her registration, I like to think she might pop in and see we are thinking of her and wishing her well.

swiftyknickers · 02/07/2008 11:59

i was looking for it this morning actually and wondered where it had gone. I hope she's ok i was incredibly moved and ispired by her. I really do wish her well x

justdidntthink · 02/07/2008 12:12

She asked for it to be deleted as she said she has been recognised by some RL friends who recognised her. She didn't feel ready for that yet, but thanked everyone for their support. I hope she pops in from time to time to let us know how she is doing.

imblet · 02/07/2008 12:19

Huntress added a note before the thread was taken off. She thanked everyone who offered help and support over the last few months. She asked for the thread to be removed as some acquaintances she knew in RL had seen the thread, identified her and had been talking among themselves. She didn't want that to happen. I am in contact with her and will tell her about this new thread. I am sure she will pop in to read it even if not to post.

MuthaHubbard · 02/07/2008 12:22

Followed her thread and was wondering how she was doing. She is truly an amazing woman and I'm sure she'll realise that for herself over time.

Send her my love and suppoert imblet

Quattrocento · 02/07/2008 12:28

Oh that's great Imblet. I was a bit worried tbh. Send her our love.

OP posts:
imblet · 02/07/2008 12:29

Mutha you are right she is an amazing woman. She is my DD's godmother and I am proud to have been able to call her my friend for over 35 years. I am so grateful to all the mnetters who have been able to help her over the last few weeks when i have had nothing wise to say at all.

imblet · 02/07/2008 12:33

I will xx

witzend · 02/07/2008 12:42

thanks for this; have been worrying about her too. Imblet, excuse the repetition, but please repeat the thoughts, hugs and good wishes from m2. It's good to know she has friends like you, esp as this time.

Inspiring and amazing lady that's for sure.
xx

BandofMothers · 02/07/2008 12:44

Oh no, what a shame - I think MN was providing some real support for her, I hope she doesn't feel too alone now

Alfreda · 02/07/2008 18:54

Likewise.
I have watched this one: it was very moving, and I hope H is feeling better with every passing day.

MuthaHubbard · 02/07/2008 19:01

imblet, am sure you've been more help than you realise, just having someone there for her will help her loads.

just wish i wasn't so far away, would love to give her and her ds a big hug and share a chocolate cake

lazarou · 02/07/2008 19:04

I left my email address for her. I hope she stays in contact.

ShortandSweet · 02/07/2008 19:10

Huntress I wish you the very best for the future and you will always be in my thoughts. I hope you get some peace in your heart and head soon.

{{hugs}}

helips · 02/07/2008 19:14

I too have followed this thread from the beginning and was incredible moved by her story. Really hope there is a happy ending for her and her little boy. I will miss hearing her progress, like tribot says it is such a shame that this support has gone. Hopefully she will let us know how she is getting on in the future, she should definately write that book!!

Good luck Huntress! xx

TheOldestCat · 02/07/2008 19:31

Another one who has been distressed by the awful stuff Huntress is going through, inspired by her determination and obvious love for her son, and very impressed with her wit and writing skill.

All the very best to you, Huntress. Remember - lots of women are wishing you much strength. Enjoy your little boy.

cheerfulvicky · 02/07/2008 19:49

Aww, it's a shame that she needed to delete the thread when it was providing a source of support for her, as well as a valuable outlet. Huntress, I'm thinking of you and your little one, and so hoping that you continue to forge through this. You're incredibly strong, inspiring and lovely, and a very talented writer.
You have a lot of people on here sending you good vibes. I'm sure that counts for something.. Stay strong and beautiful.

LobstersLass · 02/07/2008 20:03

Huntress, I was just looking for your thread and found this one instead.

Despite the dreadful situation you've found yourself in, I think you're incredibly strong and very eloquent with it!

I wish you and your gorgeous little boy peace, strength, health and happiness.

Dragonbutter · 02/07/2008 20:06

Good luck huntress.
Just CAT if you ever want to arrange a south devon meet up.
