comment on station platform: would you be offended or pleased?

So I was waiting for the train the other day, and heard some young guys of about 17-18 laughing behind me, and I glanced round, and then I think (but not sure because they were speaking Dutch, this was in Utrecht), they said 'Oh my god, I thought she was like 18 from her body and then she turned round and she was 40!"

I am 32 and don't look old, just look my age though I do look a bit stern and was wearing glasses.

Would you be gutted or pleased?

Ha. I'd be pleased. Body of 18 is kind of objective but a face of 40 is more subjective (ie they're probably wrong). Just concentrate on the body bit.

(Not saying it's you, but reminds me of people who are described as "bobfoc" - body of baywatch, face of crimewatch"! I know it's massively un-PC but has always made me laugh)

Young people are useless at judging age. Anyone over 23 is old so they're obviously wrong about the face. If you're being all feminist you're probably supposed to be offended by the body bit, but I challenge anyone not to be pleased in reality.
