Why is he always talking about teenagers?

Been dating for ten months. Both mid fifties and divorced for some years and both with adult children in their twenties.

Earlier today we popped into a local pub for a bite to eat. I'd just had minor surgery and was feeling huge relief and fancied a wee tipple as well. It was a busy Wetherspoons, Friday afternoon, loads of students and young people. The minute we sat down he could not take his eyes off four young women right in his line of vision. He commented as I noticed him staring, "oh look how she's almost wearing nothing, the top, it's backless, got no back at all" Then looking and looking. I looked around and four very pretty young girls sitting having fun. Yes a backless top. They all looked barely a day over 18. He then said "They look sooooo young. Like children... "

He stared and stared. Not long after they left. I only hope not because of him.

Then he said... "What shall we talk about then.... " He looked very embarrassed as I said nothing. I felt very uncomfortable.

A couple of weeks back we were out in a cafe and a group of girls came in, around 16 to 17 if not a bit younger at a guess. He stared and stared and said "Look at those teenage girls. I can watch exactly what's going on from where I'm sitting"

A few other times he has commented on teen clothing and how tight it is and done the staring thing.

Am I reading too much OK into this?

Can't believe any woman can sit there quietly saying nothing when their BF is perving over teenage girls. I would have stood up and said something along the lines of 'not begging for attention from from a creepy perv who stares at kids' probably quiet loudly, at least loud enough for other people to hear, then left. What a sleezy sad and nasty man.

Why are you still with him OP ?

how disgusting. I guarantee his browsing history Is cause for concern too

Yup. Take a look at this if you can…

Autumngirl5 · Yesterday 23:28

He sounds awful. I really really hate the thought of some dirty old man staring at young girls and making comments. So grim … I could not be with someone like that.
I rarely say this but please dump him.

Queenncat · Yesterday 23:30

Fake thread? 🙅

Imbusytodaysorry · Yesterday 23:47

@Elviva i feel sick to my stomach reading this never mind living it.
Dis you actually share a bed with him after the first comments !
End it now. .He is a beast .

OneRedFinch · Yesterday 23:52

Disgusting. Vile.

Gengha · Yesterday 23:54

Ew.

He’s a creep

Springtimeinsunshine · Yesterday 23:57

He's a creepy pervert. Did he wipe a bit of drool off his face or readjust his sitting posture too?

He's awful OP, why are you still with him?

VashtaNerada · Yesterday 23:58

Very creepy but I’m surprised at the people saying to inform the police. The police only investigate if there’s fairly solid grounds to suspect someone’s committed an offence.

Sezza57325 · Today 00:23

What did he mean by “I can watch exactly what's going on from where I'm sitting”?

MollyFox · Today 00:38

The fact that he’s saying these things out loud either means he’s so far gone he thinks it’s normal, or he’s grooming you to accept it as normal/ seeing what he can get away with;
that you are questioning yourself points to the second option, you will probably think of more weird and creepy examples when you are out and away from this disgusting pervert.

BryceQuinlan · Today 01:25

You cannot be serious surely?

Foolish1984 · Today 01:26

Unfortunately this is not something you can report to police. Reporting that you ‘think’ someone must be a predator based on a few perverted comments aimed at young girls who may or may not be under 18 is sadly not enough to reach the benchmark for police involvement.

WhatTheHellsGoingOn · Today 01:39

He stared and stared and said "Look at those teenage girls. I can watch exactly what's going on from where I'm sitting"

What does this even mean?

A nonce when they are16-18? It might be inappropriate and sleazy, disgusting, but not a nonce

Except that when you're in your 50s all young people under a out the age of 24 look like they're 12.
So in his eyes, he's piercing at 12 year olds, I guarantee they don't look older than that to him. Eughhhh

LBFseBrom · Today 02:49

You do not need this man, get rid.

Purplerubberducky · Today 03:03

He is vile 🤢. You need to get rid. There is no reasonable explanation for this. He is a creepy, noncey pervert.

shhblackbag · Today 03:06

This! So gross. Get rid of the brazen pervert.

EveryoneUsingOutro · Today 03:12

He’s a sleazy creep. Urgh. Dump and run OP. He’s not even trying to hide it from you. Gross perver.

Seriously, you know now what's going on in his mind?
They're in a pub in one instance and in both places, the girls of a legal age.

He's creepy beyond doubt, but no need make stuff up.

Thepossibility · Today 03:47

Fucking eww. If he can't keep his eyes off them in public imagine what goes on inside his head.

Chickenonthebathroomfloor · Today 03:59

It’s gross and I’d leave him.

Those saying to report him - what for, exactly? He hasn’t done a crime (that we know of) and police aren’t exactly going to do anything based on “he seems like a nonce.”

BitOutOfPractice · Today 04:21

My guess at an answer to your question: porn.

CharityShopMensGlasses · Today 04:28

Ick. Im sorry OP thsts horrible for you xx Id run xx
