I want a divorce but know that xh will make it difficult. where do I stand?

Sorry I've namechanged for this as he knows my username. We have been separated for a year, have 2 dcs and there is no chance of getting back together.

I have now decided I really want a divorce. But I know he will try to delay/prevent this simply because it's something I want (he is very difficult).

Where do I stand? Can he refuse a divorce? How long could it potentially take? And if he agrees (which would be highly surprising) how quick could it be?

he can refuse the divorce unless you have strong reason for irreconcilable differences or recent (pre six months adultery) why dont you try the law section - i know a few family lawyers use it and can advise you far more competently then i
