Pain after sex - is this normal

My dh and I are ttc number 2 but I am finding sex quite painful at the moment. It doesn't hurt whilst we are doing it but the next day I feel pain on the right side of my pelvis. I also find some positions very painful. Before we had ds I didn't seem to have any problems (ds is nearly 4 and I had an elective c-section). We don't have any STd'S and I am at a loss as to what could be causing the pain.

I would ask your GP to refer you to a gynae as a matter of course. The cause of this secondary pain needs to be identified and treated.

Do not be fobbed off - you need medical advice.

Could be an ovarian problem or even fallopian tube. Could be endo or anything- you need to get checked by a gynae.

don't be fobbed off by gp....took me 13 years to get endometriosis diagnosis.
