want to divorce him but wont go,barely works,lazy and slothfull,left downstairs windows wide open last nite as he coulnt be bothered to close them ,earnt no money to pay this months rent usual everday stuff

Why won't he go? Why don't you go? Whose name is the home in? If he won't pay the rent, can you afford it by yourself?
SOunds like you need to check out your legal position and then you can take the necessary steps to get rid of him.

its gonna happen tonite he is going hook line and sinker ,got apptment with dss and solictor tomorrow to get legal and financial crap sorted.
my biggest boot is on and its going to hurt him bigtime.
