My DH is playing some loud computer game and I am trying to watch Holby City repeat. He is so rude!

He took the day off sick. He has been on it all day whilst our DD has been in nursery he has hardly done a thing. I have had a stressful day doing some challenging stuff at work.
I cooked dinner, he has played and played and played.

It has not bothered me until now. He cant/wont find his headset, and I CANT HEAR TH FUCKING TELE!

pull the plug out

pavlovthecat · 29/05/2008 21:09

I cant reach it .

Its a fighting game. If I turn up the tele, DD will wake up.

I keep asking. he is getting narky. I just cant be bothered to argue with him, so I am venting my frustration and anger here.

AAAARGH!

Leave him dear

pavlovthecat · 29/05/2008 21:13

Esther - its close. I mean I missed Holby City already this week, and to make me miss it again is quite unforgiveable, really.

is there not another room he can play in?

i get 'looks' when i ask dh to turn his computer down, even though he's the first to complain when the dc have the telly too loud

i think computer game sound effects are designed to induce insanity.thats what happened to me,anyway.

pavlovthecat · 29/05/2008 21:29

No other room, I could probably watch Holby on BBC I, but I dont want to be relegated to the bedroom again.

He has stopped fighting for now, he is talking to some bloke. The ORCS MAINTAIN AN IRON GRIP ON CITY WALLS blah blah

pavlov - tell him that most males grow out of warhammer before they hit puberty - might do the trick

pavlovthecat · 29/05/2008 22:35

No afraid not. Tried that!

He used to play evercrack everquest. He outgrew that, and digressed to this.

Going through midlife crisis?

why don't you just get the headphones if it's bothering you so much?

Anniegetyourgun · 30/05/2008 12:55

I'm a WoW addict. My PC is in the lounge, right next to the telly, and the family are usually so noisy that I can't hear the music anyway, so I just turn the sound off. Can play perfectly well without it.

Divastrop · 30/05/2008 16:50

i have always been told the sound is necessary
