Great to hear your update. So glad he hasn’t made it difficult for you but keep ignoring him or he’ll no doubt start wheedling as soon as he sees a chink of light. He lost a lot when you went and I’m sure he’s realised that. How lovely to have holiday plans to make:)

I just wanted to wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful 2026. And to anyone who might ever read this and my previous thread - it can happen, it does get better, you can do it!

Festive wishes from my lovely home, filled currently with Christmas decorations and lights, warmth and calmness!

I remember this feeling! I had to rent a tiny flat as my ex was so toxic, whe the divorce went through and the day I moved in I bought 11 scatter cushions because he would never let me! 6 years on I am engaged and living with someone else, bit I look back at that time in the flat with great affection. Enjoy the silences they likely won't last forever!

I am thinking of going to Rhodes next summer, though I am starting a new job in February so I'll see what the holiday rules are there! It's all change, and I'm so relieved and grateful to you lovely lot!
