dh has decided he needs space to sort himself out. I dnt know how permanent this will be, but it will start with a period of about a month.
Should I be sorting out tax credits etc now?
What else do I need to sort out????

hi ratbunny
as soon as you know when he is going phone up tax credits and they will sort it out pretty quick, you might be entitled to housing costs claim for everything you can until you can sort it all out,
if you arent working phone dwp and pensions and they will do claim over phone but do it straight away so you have what you need to live.
dp left 3 months ago and it was all sorted out pretty quick much to my surprise
good luck

Give them a bell. They'll just ask what date you stopped living together as a couple and should start your claim from that date.
