What do you do in the evenings

I am intrigued to know what people do other than watch TV (including streaming services) in the evenings.
Often I will ask a friend if they are watching or have watched something and they will respond by saying 'we don't watch a lot of TV'.

I don't think my partner and I watch a lot of TV just the news and usually an hour before 10pm but I would like to know what people do instead. Obviously leaving aside going out and doing the usual social stuff, cinema, theatre, meeting friends etc.

I am talking about if at home, not doing chores and relaxing. We have a dog we walk every evening, I read when I go to bed and I do chores in the evening and I am happy with my lot but just interested to know what others do

go on my exercise bike and listen to podcasts.

I don't have a partner but with my DS 22 we have dinner and play cards for a while. Then watch Netflix etc (either together or separately. If DD is around we might do crosswords together plus TV.

Personally, read, walk the dogs, soak in the bath, DW on the other hand seems incapable of not watching the tv for more than five minutes

It’s generally 6.30 by the time we are both home. First to be home walks the dog then we cook dinner, watch some tv/chat/scroll.
I have a soak, get clothes and lunches ready for next day and we go to bed by 10.

Weekends we see friends but other than that DP will game, I read or chat with family.

By the time we got home from work (after 7pm), made and ate dinner, cleaned up and did the daily chores, did another hour of work,...we generally watched an hour of the together before bed.

Yeah, work-life balance not terribly balanced.
