Am finding I can't find anything that really feels right .

We seem to be past the really romantic lovey-dovey stage, and I've got this whopping great white space to fill.... help!

Roses are red,
Violets are blue
Get your kit off
And let's have a screw.

Why would you send an anniversary card to someone you see every day? Or any kind of card for that matter?

MrsSchadenfreude · 25/04/2008 21:48

Roses are red
Olives are green
Sod talking dirty
Let's do something obscene

(sorry have been drinking)

I usually end up putting something pathetic like lots of love lollipop (although tend to use my rl name). seems very inadequate I know and is the same as what I write on other cards too.

maisemor · 25/04/2008 22:00

Don't bother about words, put a picture of yourself dressed up as a saucy maid in an envelope and give him that . Not sure who you would get to take the picture though . Husband suggests self timer or guy next door....

NormaSnorks · 25/04/2008 22:47

re the saucy messages - not quite what I had in mind...

Think TMMJ probably has the right idea.

Agree - don't really see the point of sending cards, but DH will be huffy if I don't!
(And he has bought me flowers, 'cos I saw them in the garage when I put the recycling out! )

LOL Sobernow.

I draw little cartoon pictures of us, the DC and our dog - I am no artist but they are recognisable and always raise a smile.

I used to write all my love forever and heres to many more and all that crap but like you say it stops being suitable after a while.

maidamess · 26/04/2008 08:51

MRs S I'm glad you say that about sending cards...if you can't say it in person why should it be any easier in a card?
