oh yes, tis unreasonable behaviour.

EffiePerine · 14/04/2008 20:56

can you set him up with a pile of food, drink and reading material and leave him to it?

EffiePerine · 14/04/2008 20:57

oh and you need to distract him. Think toddler. TV? DVD? Games? Plus food and drink, obv. Make him think you're pampering him then bugger off for a few hours

whomovedmychocolate · 14/04/2008 20:58

ROFL - What's worse is, by Friday he'll be all chipper and you'll be sick and he'll fuck off to the pub and leave you alone because you are moaning

DoubleBluff · 14/04/2008 21:00

I gave him a copy of the Times, two cans of 'full fat coke' and a packet of paracetomols at 4pm.
Haven't seen him since, can't be bothered t go and check on him.
Might just check if he is still breathing when I go up to bed, hahahahah!
Chocolate that scenario sounds like you know my h really well!

'My temperature is nearly 39' - DH
' Don't worry until it ets to 40 thats when you really are ill' - me

2hrs later - ' Help, I think its 40'

'You can still speak though can't you?' me, ' so can't be that bad'

Doublebluff - you are *much more sympathetic than me, I handed over a bottle of paracetamol, a bottle of whisky and a lemon together with a pot of honey with instructions to mix them all up and if that didn't work suck the lemon to dull the noise of the whinging

Luckily DH only gets sick once every three years. Ex-DH got sick all the time. My tolerance levels were substantially tried and eventually left home for good.
