Just wanted to moan
And proof that I am an addict - apparently - is the fact that I constantly deny it (??!!!).
I only came on tonight for 40 minutes because he was watching the football, and I couldn't be arsed. Then we watched the Apprentice. Then I logged back on and he flipped.

Mine has a little grumble sometimes.

Then every now and again I'll catch him lurking........

Carmenere · 26/03/2008 22:46

And how exactly is it any worse than following football?

choosyfloosy · 26/03/2008 22:47

TBH if it was a guy (or a woman) playing World of Warcraft I'd be equally fed up - or exchanging pokes on Facebook or whatever the young people get up to.

I feel it's like a harem - we're all in purdah here so it's safe. IYSWIM.

cadelaide · 26/03/2008 22:48

i think they get a bit insecure.

And really, who can blame them?

Katisha · 26/03/2008 22:48

It's because it's something they are not involved in/controlling...Also it's wimmins stuff therefore not worthy of respect.

Jessie3 · 26/03/2008 22:49

Ah well, you see, he talks to me when football is on, I just don't talk to him when I am on mumsnet. True, I don't, most of the time I wish he would shut up and let me concentrate on whatever thread I am reading.

I rather think that by posting this thread, you may just have proved his point.

Jessie3 · 26/03/2008 22:52

Nah, he has gone to bed, so I can do what I like
