bonniej · 23/12/2004 20:29

can't she get a cab???

pixiefish · 23/12/2004 20:30

her dh should bloody well sort himself out as well. What if something happened to her

biglips · 23/12/2004 20:30

just say that your kids are in bed as its too late now

whowantstobeamillionare · 23/12/2004 20:31

can't she get a taxi if it's only a few minutes away...I mean if she doesn't get on with you and then asks you to pick her up it is a little sticking her fingers up...not even arranging it beforehand I mean...I take it she's not short of a bob or two?

LITTLEMISANTHROPE · 23/12/2004 20:31

SIL's are the creation of satan himself!!!

miranda2 · 23/12/2004 20:31

Say you've been drinking so can't drive. Then go and have a couple just to make it true!

FeastofStevenmom · 23/12/2004 20:38

Oh, I thought it may have been just a Christmas thing. If she does this regularly then stuff her yg- think of the girls in bed, fast asleep, etc etc. Tell her that you'd inadvertently put the phone off/on silent if she says anything

blossomgoodwill · 23/12/2004 21:00

Not well at all. She's weird.

eidsvold · 24/12/2004 21:25

sorry your sil is like that - my two sil's are brilliant. One even came down and stayed to look after dd1 whilst I was in hospital after having c-section for dd2. Is coming down in a couple of weeks so dh and I can have a night out and to just spend time with me. ALso means my niece who is almost the same age as dd1 can play and enjoy each other's company. She has also done lots to help with christmas lunch today.

However yg - you sil is taking the mickey.... what a very cheeky cow!!!!

drhurfurr · 27/12/2004 10:10

It's a cheek, let her get a taxi.
If she goes out on a busy night of the year, she should make prior arrangements to get home, her problem not yours !!!

I have full simpathy, the way I feel about my SIL at the momment, I wouldn't pi** on her if she was on fire.
