PAINFUL-ISH SEX

I used to really enjoy sex with my husband but since having had the babe it's not as enjoyable as it was. I had a good birth and no tearing. Obviously everything stretched but it sems to have mostly got back to where it was before through loads of Keegle exercises. I know it's going to take some time but 4 months on when we have sex I still feel kind of bruised. That slightly bruised feeling interfers with the pleasure side so overall I don't enjoy it that much.

Is that normal?

Anyone else fell like this?

Will it go away?

Hi Pingle,

I had this with dd1 and spoke to a gynaecologist about it. He said it was a hormonal thing in some women - nature's way of preventing too close pregnancies . It got better and disappeared after about 6 months. Dd2 is now 5 months and it's getting better again. So would wait and see if I was you, but hope you get better soon!

OK that might make sense, since there doesn't seem to be a physical problem. Thanks!
