Blushing

My friend had a get together a few weeks ago and as one of the guests walked in he looked at me and went red, then proceeded to take his shoes off. Is this a sign he likes me? Been a long time since this has happened so not sure.
During the evening he asked me if I wanted another drink and when my hand brushed his I felt like an electric shock, could he have felt it too ?

Some people just blush easily.. i know i do. He probably felt a bit on the spot walking in and seeing new people.

Not to say he doesn't like you but don't read anything into the blushing.

he knows everyone else really well apart from me

Perhaps his shoes were making his athlete's foot flare up. The effort of not scratching was making him puce so he kicked off his shoes at the first possible opportunity.

He looked at you, then blushed. He knows everyone else really well. It could be that he felt attraction or it could be he feels nervous meeting new people or could be there is something embarrassing about his shoes or feet or maybe he was holding in a fart and was worried it might come out as he takes his shoes off. Or maybe he has a bald spot and felt self conscious it could show when his head is lowered.
He had a reaction but if it's love and attraction or something totally unsexy is impossible to tell.
In body language they recommend you look for a cluster of signs not just one thing.
