We were chatting, I was tired and I said it when I meant to say something else!
Now I feel a bit weird , he said it back but quietly and quickly then we just carried on going about our business!
Can't retract it and don't really want to. he makes me laugh, we do lots together and have fun and
We've known each other our whole lives, but this 'relationship' Is still in the early dating stage.

I feel like I 'love' him like I'd feel about any of my very good friends, the way we are together, shared interests etc, means i love his personalised and having him in my life like other important people but it feels like a different context because of the possible 'relationship' and now I'm worried its a big red love bomb-y flag from me to him!

We have lots of upcoming plans and he was still keen after my faux pas...
Has anyone said this too soon and got away with it or is it likely to leave him running scared?

Yes, I did. Married 30 plus years. Hope it works out for you

I did, I was mortified. He didn't say it back. That was 12 years ago, he didn't run away and did say he loved me a little while later (at a more appropriate time!)

Thank you for replies. We shall see. I'm sure I'm over thinking! Probably a bit annoyed with myself as I'd rather have waited a more 'reasonable' Time!
