Are these people family or friends who you would normally socialise with in their couples? Do they normally treat you like a weirdo or disrespectfully? Are they normally all joined at the hip, being all lovey-dovey, whispering sweet nothings to each other?

Me personally, I try to avoid travel with anyone and go away on my own. But if I wanted to see friends, I certainly wouldn't avoid them simply because I was single. I probably wouldn't go on a coach trip geared mostly at couples though, if that's what you're asking.

I have found when I travel with a couple I always get a poorer room even if I have made the booking. But my friends who are couples don't treat me differently in many ways they tend to look out for me and make sure I am okay.

I've done this. Very enjoyable to spend time with people I like.

Also done it as part of a couple with single friends. Also very enjoyable.

I like my friends, is the thing, and I'm friends with the kind of people who don't turn this into a thing or make anyone feel uncomfortable or excluded.

I just want to clarify it's the hotels that tend to give solo travellers in a group the poorer room, not my friends!

One couple sounds fine, three or more sounds shit
Might just be my hatred of travelling in big groups talking…
