If someone says 'I won't be here/alive when you get back' emotional abuse to keep someone to stay with them?

Can you tell us more? Generally people who aren't in emotionally manipulative situations don't suspect emotional manipulation, so if you're asking the question a) it probably is, and b) the person's welfare isn't your immediate concern (i.e. you don't think they're going to end their life.
