How do you deal with a partner who is always complaining about the injustices in their life but does nothing to resolve them and spends their time gaming instead? I am not one to tell a partner what to do but it is getting annoying hearing the moaning when they are not going to the gym when they say they want to or hate their job but don't apply for jobs.

There is 1 gamer in particular who has specifically told him and others they don't need anyone else in life and that the gaming will help them, this woman will spend a whole weekend gaming. Another one is an alcoholic who complains about being single but just drinks and games. Another left the gaming saying losing got him depressed. I just cant believe how people in their late 30s, 40s and 50s can get so addicted and let the world go by.

Yet my partner think gaming is going to solve all his problem. He is in his 40s and I feel he is immature. I don't see why I should give him sympathy.
