Hi girls (and boys)

I've just got to let everyone know we're back together again. I haven't posted about this (except on the Meet-up thread) but a few of you know that when I returned from last week's Yorkshire Xmas meet-up I came back to an empty house. We'd had a huge argument before I left on the Friday and he'd said he wouldn't be here when I returned - and he wasn't.

We've done a lot of talking this week - more than we've done in ages and we both acknowledge that lack of money has been a major player in stressing us both up recently. And we've both been working very hard and blaming each other for being tired. I think we reached a point in our relationship that most couples reach - but we've done something about it and talked it through.

We managed to have an evening to ourselves last night. He came to pick me up to take me out. It was like we were dating again (but we never have dated as such because we each had children when we met). We went somewhere new and we spent a lovely night together (and morning!!!Blush). He's just left to go over to his parents to pick his things up and will move back in tomorrow. I am soooo happy! And he is too!!! Wish us luck!!!

p.s. thank you to Yorkiegirl and Wedgiesmum to getting in touch and offering support. You are all (mumsnetters everywhere) wonderful people.

Can I also add that my ex (father of my children) has been fantastically supportive and it has meant a lot to me. He does know I use this site and I've said some rotten things in the past on here (which he's found) so if you do see this, thank you!!!

Really pleased for you dingdottee. Well done for putting in the necessary hard work - it'll pay back in spades. Hope everything continues to go up and up! Smile

Thank ponybell. It was hard last weekend but it has paid off (I think). It's good to be typing something nice on the relationship topic.
