Never heard of this term until today. I care for my Dad, having lost my Mum last year. He's 87. He's still fairly independent. I know that a lot of people have a lot more responsibility than me. I work full time and have 3 sons. Just starting down the occupational therapy route to see if I can get his house modified for him in anyway to make life easier for him. Wondered if there were other carents out there too and if we could share ideas and give each other support :-)

What is he struggling with?

Very similar situation here.

I just try and give my Dad less to worry about. I do the shopping, meals etc. On a practical level, a personal alarm is helpful, and grab rails etc just in case.
