I tend to think crushes on people other than your partner are generally harmless and normal in long-term relationships, so long as they’re kept in perspective and no-one acts on them.
But what about crushes on other people when you’ve been dating less than a year, during what should be the honeymoon phase?
To clarify, by “crush” I’m talking a bit more intense than fancying a celebrity or thinking “ooh that person looks hot” from a distance.
If someone’s getting one this early could it be a sign the relationship isn’t all it’s cracked up to be, despite everything appearing well otherwise?
