I met a man just after Christmas, he's in the army. Currently he lives about 10 minutes from me which which is great however he's being deployed 5 hours away, leaving next month. I know this is part and parcel of army life but I just wonder if this will be the end for us. He says he will drive back and see me every other weekend when dd is with her dad, but will he? I can't go to visit him as he will be living in barracks. He doesn't want to go but has no choice.
Anyone in similar circumstances who can offer any advice?
