What self help should I seek?

I consider myself to be ‘recently divorced’ but recognise that others would say that was old news. I am struggling just now, and the manifestation of that would seem to be procrastination/iPhone addiction. This is an issue with work. Not all the info is in this post, but I’m wondering whether I should pay for professional counselling about the family situation (where things are a bit difficult just now) or whether I should just buy a book about digital detox.

Instead of saying "what's wrong with me?", Reframe it as "what happened to me?" This is the start of the Power, Threat, Meaning Framework, an alternative to counselling in it's usual sense. Sounds like you are using the phone as a much needed distraction.
