My ex and I have been back together for a few weeks he said I was the one before but circumstances at the time split us up and after 15 years he wants to try again. It was all full on at first texting all the time and seeing each other but he wouldn't tell anyone about us and recently we hardly talk when I text he doesn't reply for a while but he's Adamant he wants a future with me and he loves me and he doesn't want to split up I'm so confused because his actions are speaking louder than his words and I don't know what to do.

Listen to the actions. Ignore the words.
Anyone can say pretty words you want to hear about changes you feel are needed. They are empty and meaningless unless the actions match the words.

A man who loves you will show it in what he does. It doesn't have to be big instagram gestures, just smaller simple ones that show he's thinking of you.
