DP. He is the biggest w**r on the planet. This after noon we came in from the car. I had 5 minutes to get round to the school to pay for the school pics and the money for dd to go to the xmas party next week. Instead of helping me he just left ds sitting in the car seat in a huge snowsuit and walked off to make a cup of tea. So I made a few sarcastic comments, got ds out, settled him in his chair and started him on his bottle. DP sat on the sofa and fell asleep. So I am still here, no money paid. Deadline was today. We are supposed to be going to my mums tomorrow as its my sisters 14th b'day today. DD is so excited as she loves going to see them. DP got called to work, stormed off, phoned from the car and said he's not taking us. DD in tears, dp just screaming at me down the phone.
I hate his f'ing guts. He always says 'one day I just won't come home' .... I wish he'd hurry up.

Sorry - rant over!!!

amynSaintnixmum · 10/12/2004 15:54

spacedonkey · 10/12/2004 15:54

MINNIE1 · 10/12/2004 15:54

OnZephyrstdayofXmas · 10/12/2004 15:55

Oh I'm used to it he's been like it for ages - he's just a twat, but as soon as i tell him i want to go he gets angry and tells me i'm not taking the kids.
One day he'll get a shock

OnZephyrstdayofXmas · 10/12/2004 15:58

i wish there was thenm i just tell him to 'go away'!! But its about 50 miles away - 2 bus and 2 train journeys so not worth the hassle - esp with my two!!

dogwalkinginawinterwonderland · 10/12/2004 16:01

Poor zephyr - wot a bastard.

OnZephyrstdayofXmas · 10/12/2004 16:11

I've started to notice more since I've been on here just how much of a twat he is!! Practically every thread where someone is talking about things going wrong I can say 'yep me too' - and if i posted on this thread everytime he does something like this it'd be top 5 every day!!
I'm calm now though - for the time being!! Hopefuilly he's got an appointment to go to at work so won't be home till much much later Grin

FimboCLAUS · 10/12/2004 16:15

Can your mum pick you up? Or have a tea party or something at yours for your sister

FlosstyTheSnowman · 10/12/2004 16:18

Sounds like a complete twat!! Sorry! Is it just cause he's annoyed? I know my (dear!!) DP gets like it sometimes... I'm not doing this, not going here... If you let him calm down and think it's not that big a deal he will do it. If you go nuts at him and have a go, he won't. Ever. Is it the same for you?! Hugs. x

OnZephyrstdayofXmas · 10/12/2004 16:18

unfortunately mum doesnt have a car so it's a case of either he takes us or we risk the train but i dont really fancy it with ds at 5 months and dd who knows it so runs off at any given opportunity!!

OP posts:
cranberryjampot · 10/12/2004 16:21

poor you Zephyr - as my dh says "he's not a twat - a twat is useful" (substitute twat for any other word of varying strength to suit mood)

FimboCLAUS · 10/12/2004 16:23

OMG I remember you are like me and can't drive, this is one of these occasions where u wish you could then you could just give him the "v's" as you drive off.

JaNgLyBELLS · 10/12/2004 16:24

I think the Christmas stress always falls on the woman too. Wouldn't be any Christmasses if it was left to the men!

amynSaintnixmum · 10/12/2004 16:24

Could a friend give you a lift?

OnZephyrstdayofXmas · 10/12/2004 16:26

yep that's me fimboCLAUS stuck in the middle of nowhere!!! lol He's just phoned and apologised after i sent him a text saying if he didn't phone and speak to dd in the next 5 minutes everything he owns would be out on the pavement by the time he got home Grin

OP posts:
vict17 · 10/12/2004 16:26

okay might be in the minority here but it all sounds a bit petty to me. Why did you tell your dd what he said on the phone when he'll in all probabilty change his mind. Why include her in a petty row? If you really think so little of him then perahps you should keave him, or go to relate, or do something. Sorry to sound harsh but we all row with our dh's like this surely?

FimboCLAUS · 10/12/2004 16:31

Well done Zephyr, petty or not, sometimes we just need to vent our anger, and if that means on here, then so what? Wink

OnZephyrstdayofXmas · 10/12/2004 16:32

i didnt tell her she heard him - the phone was on speaker as i was feeding ds.
He has been to see the doc to talk to a councellor about his temper and moods so we are getting something done.

OnZephyrstdayofXmas · 10/12/2004 16:33

thanks fimboCLAUS - i generally try not to have a rant on here about him as I know it'll blow over till next time but have discovered that a quick rant on here does wonders to calm you down once it is out there!

OP posts:
vict17 · 10/12/2004 16:34

SorryZephr didn't realise it was that serious. Hope you manage to work it out...
