Hello - I've been on several dates with a wonderful guy; very early days but extremely well matched...I really liked him. We are at different life stages as there is quite an age gap so decided not to progress any further, no angst and all mature but surprised how crushed I feel about this. Am trying to be kind to myself but thinking that this could be a sign that I should try and get out there, we met through a random, in real life pub chatting scenario and have never used online dating before (am 50!) but don't know where to start really. I would so welcome practical advice, which sites to start with, if someone messages you, do you have to message back, how soon, what if they live miles away - this just wouldn't work as am quite time pressed? As you can tell I am totally clueless so would love your supportive advice - thank you
